Bringing God’s Truth, Hope, Healing and Restoration to the Desolate Places

The projects below are just a few that form part of our ongoing work with our associate ministry in Eastern Africa – King of Kings.  See the website for more details of this ministry (http://kingofkings.mcmnet.org).

• Creating income-generation projects for churches and pastors in remote areas;

• Building an centre on the Prayer Mountain for prayer, study, and retreat;

• Building an orphans home and school on ministry land as part of the Shalom Orphanage project;

• Working to stop the evil practice of female circumcision and genital mutilation practiced in rural areas;

• Continuing the work of church planting and raising up leaders in remote areas of Uganda and Kenya.

• Desertway Bible Study Centre

This is an ongoing project to create a series of Bible Study Courses for; New Believers, Leadership, Business Ministry and related material.  It will be designed specifically for use by those in developing nations, and will include various aspects of remote learning, assisting local churches or church groups to set up their own support training centre and will include teaching and study materials in various formats.  This will include, printed material, audio and video recordings and internet and broadcast seminars and support.

This is currently underway and we expect to be able to roll out the first courses later this year, at which time we will be introducing them through King of Kings in eastern Africa, and through our Mainstream office in Zimbabwe.  More updates on this and including a course outline and overview of the delivery systems will be available by the middle of June.

• Desertway Media & Publishing

This is a two-part project due to be introduced shortly.  It will include a library of online and downloadable resources, including ebooks, video and audio Bible studies, articles and other material.

The second part of the project will be a regularly broadcast series of Bible studies, interviews, coverage of live events and discussion groups delivered through internet TV, podcasts and other video and audio streaming.

Planned projects
